Eaton Vance Closed-End Fund Quarterly Data Now Available

BOSTON, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Eaton Vance Management announced that quarterly fund data as of September 30, 2009, including performance, call schedule for issues held, top-ten holdings, and sector weightings, is available for the Eaton Vance closed-end funds. The information is available on Eaton Vance's website at www.eatonvance.com on the fund information pages under "Individual Investors - Closed-End Funds."

Eaton Vance Management today also disclosed the following data for the Eaton Vance closed-end municipal bond funds (referred to below as the "Municipal Funds"):

Earnings per Common Share - The average monthly net investment income per common share (after payment of preferred dividends) for the three months ended September 30, 2009;

Dividend per Common Share - The monthly dividend per common share paid in September 2009;

Undistributed Net Investment Income (UNII) per Common Share - The average balance at month end of undistributed net investment income per common share (net of pending distributions) for the three months ended September 30, 2009; and

Leverage - The ratio of outstanding auction rate preferred shares (a source of the Municipal Funds' financial leverage) ("APS") to total assets as of September 30, 2009.(1)

Earnings and UNII will fluctuate over time due to fund activity and /or market factors.

During 2008, three of the Municipal Funds redeemed their APS in full while many other have redeemed their APS in part.
