Dell (DELL) Buyout Announcement Could Come Monday

An investment group lead by Michael Dell and Silver Lake Partners are nearing a deal to take Dell (Nasdaq: Dell) private, according to Reuters.

Reports say a deal could come as soon as Monday. Michael Dell will be taking a majority stake, with Silver Lake and Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) taking minority stakes in the PC maker. Final price has not been determined, but the latest rumors say the price could be as high as $15 per share.

Shares of Dell last traded at $14.35 in pre-open action, up 8.4 percent.
