nature of the beast
Allied Barton on Oct 28, 2009 01:30 PM

Name me one good security company??? I have worked for three and they all have their faults. The officers that complain are the officers that don't want to comply with the rules and regulations set by the company and their clients. Heaven forbid if the officers at the IMF actually only got the two 15 min breaks and 30 min lunch required by law, but no they get twice that and still complain. They complain if they have to stand outside when it gets into the 30s, but not freezing, or if it is snowing. Suck it up!! Go work at the State Dept. or DOJ, then think twice about the good you had at IMF w/AlliedBarton.

I regret even being hired by them. They are a very unfair company. The management will tell you to your face that you are an excellent employee and then cut your hours to zero. They even have you train new officers only to replace yourself. If the schedule writer (supervisor) makes a mistake, all they do is fix it by printing out a new one. If a person goes by the old schedule, he or she gets a write up and or suspension. Word of advice: Never mention you have a health problem. Also, the young employees get all the good posts and assignments. If you are over 50 you get a less desireable post, patrol or assignment.

Abuse from Management
Current Employee w/Allied Barton on Sep 8, 2009 01:26 AM

I am a current employee with allied barton security govermental services imf. I have been employed there for two years and sad but true I must admit to the total disregard for employees legal rights, moral and ethical standards that are not being upheld by management and HR dept. The biggest issue really is the fact that the employees either do not know there rights or are afraid to file charges of discrimmination, intimidation, harrassment, retaliation, unfair treatment, labor law violations not being able to utilize sick or personal leave without having to managements prior approval to switch with your fellow officers, write-ups and suspensions that are not documented in the handbook as violations, it's a mess. And don't you dare think about challenging management because that is your job for sure. You would think that allied barton coporate office would be paying close attention to such a high turnover rate of employees. Employees do not stay long with the abuse of power and the hostile work enviroment by the regime of Capasso and his puppets.

wtf?

To the poster "bad company". I am about to work for Allied Barton and the posts that I have viewed on other website's have the same complaints. So, I did some checking and the only ones complaining are the people who have no writing ability! How can you complain about a company and your english sucks? I would have fired or released everyone that has posted a comment! I even read one complaint about never being contacted. Funny, I was contacted in 3 hours!! LOL!
