BlackRock (BLK) Reports Strong Q2 Earnings; Confirms Merrill Will Not Sell Stake

BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE: BLK) reports Q2 EPS of $2.14, 17 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.97. Revenues for the quarter were $1.387 billion, versus the consensus of $1.32 billion.

Also confirmed that Merrill Lynch (NYSE: MER) will not sell its stake in BlackRock.

BlackRock, Inc. is a publicly owned investment manager.
