Volatility, Markets Rise Early on iPhone, Spanish Bailout Chatter

iPath S&P 500 VIX ST Futures ETN (NYSE: VXX) is moving lower Friday, remaining in positive territory as the CBOE VIX is also higher on the session.

Markets are reacting to little economic data out today, mostly focused on sales of Apple's iPhone 5 starting.

Across the pond, Spain is said to be prepping to request bailout funds. Headlines come from the Financial Times.

In early trading, the S&P is up 6.5 points, Nasdaq up 17 points, and Dow Jones up 28 points.
