The S&P 500 pulled back from session highs mid-afternoon on Thursday. With Tuesday's violent reversal still fresh in the minds of many traders, the small blip did not go unnoticed, though markets appear to be on solid footing for the time being with the S&P up 1.6%, the Dow up 1.4%, and the Nasdaq higher by 1.5%.
Update: Losses accelerated with the S&P 500 now higher by 1% as the final hour of trading gets underway.
