Six Flags Entertainment (SIX) Raises Quarterly Dividend 10.6% to $0.52; 6% Yield

Six Flags Entertainment (NYSE: SIX) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.52 per share, or $2.08 annualized. This is a 10.6% increase from the prior dividend of $0.47.
The dividend will be payable on December 8, 2014, to stockholders of record on November 25, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of November 21, 2014.
The annual yield on the dividend is 6 percent.
"The company's strong momentum has enabled us to raise our dividend by 11 percent, representing our fifth consecutive year of dividend increases," said Jim Reid-Anderson, Chairman, President and CEO. "We are highly focused on building shareholder value and believe an attractive, growing dividend is an excellent way to deliver consistent returns for our shareholders."
