Mentor Graphics (MENT) Tops Q3 EPS by 13c; Isues Light Q4 Outlook

Mentor Graphics (NASDAQ: MENT) reported Q3 EPS of $0.34, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $292.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $275.9 million.

“We had revenue and non-GAAP earnings per share that were both records for a third quarter,” said Walden C. Rhines, chairman and CEO of Mentor Graphics. “Strength in automotive products and services continued in the quarter and expanded into the broader transportation market, as aerospace and commercial vehicles also transition from mechanical to electronic systems. We are pleased with our momentum heading into the fourth quarter, with continued strength in transportation, high demand for design-to-silicon products and a growing pipeline of emulation customers.”

Mentor Graphics sees Q4 2015 EPS of $1.17, versus the consensus of $1.19. Mentor Graphics sees Q4 2015 revenue of $425 million, versus the consensus of $449.7 million.

Mentor Graphics sees FY2015 EPS of $1.75, versus the consensus of $1.75. Mentor Graphics sees FY2015 revenue of $1.23 billion, versus the consensus of $1.24 billion.
