SunPower Corp (SPWR) CFO Emmanuel Hernandez Announces His Retirement

Emmanuel Hernandez has communicated his intent to retire as Chief Financial Officer of SunPower Corporation (Nasdaq: SPWR). Mr. Hernandez has agreed to remain fully engaged in his current role until a new Chief Financial Officer is appointed, into 2009 if needed. Mr. Hernandez was previously identified in the Company’s 2008 proxy statement as one of the Company’s named executive officers.

SunPower Corporation engages in the design, manufacture, and marketing of solar electric power technologies.
