Sun Life Financial (SLF) U.S. Division Names Leslie Hunnicutt to SVP, National Sales Manager, Bank Channel at SLFD

The U.S. division of Sun Life Financial Inc. (NYSE: SLF) today announced that Leslie Hunnicutt has been named Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager, Bank Channel at Sun Life Financial Distributors, Inc. (SLFD). SLFD is the firm's U.S. wholesaling and marketing organization. Hunnicutt will be responsible for expanding and managing sales efforts through financial institutions, especially the distribution of Sun Life's annuity products through banks and credit unions.

"We are excited to have Leslie join the SLFD team," said Terry Mullen, President, Sun Life Financial Distributors. "Her industry experience and relationships are invaluable as we strive to further develop the bank channel."

Hunnicutt brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and sales industries. Most recently, she was the managing director of SunAmerica's Retirement Markets group. She managed all aspects of annuity distribution through financial institutions, credit unions and third party programs as well as developing and managing all related marketing, sales and business development activities in that sales channel. Prior to her 14-year tenure at SunAmerica, Hunnicutt held senior positions in various financial services companies, including as vice president for American Skandia and executive vice president for the Fimark Companies.
