R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company (Nasdaq: RRD) announced that Daniel L. Knotts is being named Chief Operating Officer, succeeding John R. Paloian who is retiring after over 25 years in the industry and having served for more than five years as the company's COO. Mr. Knotts has most recently been the company's Group President, with responsibility for global sales, operations, information technology, logistics, financial services, business process outsourcing operations, strategic sourcing and Environmental, Health and Safety.
Knotts joined RR Donnelley in 1986 and has served in a variety of accounting, operations, sales leadership and general management roles with progressively more responsibility, including as CEO of RR Donnelley's global Financial Services offering.
