NUCRYST (NCST) Announces Senior Management Change

NUCRYST Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: NCST) announced that Eliot M. Lurier will step down as Vice President Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer in order to take a position with another company in a field unrelated to any of NUCRYST's businesses, effective April 15, 2008. The Company has initiated a search for Mr. Lurier's successor. [JT]
