MDC Partners Inc. (Nasdaq: MDCA) announced Ryan Linder has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer in the United States, effective immediately. Linder will oversee marketing and business development across MDC Partners' largest agency portfolio and market, and he will partner with MDC's regionally-based CMOs, Stephanie Nerlich in Canada and Lotta Malm Hallqvist in Europe, to drive ongoing global growth in response to intensifying client demand. Linder is being promoted from his most recent position as SVP of Business Development based on his impressive track record for consistently maximizing growth potential, generating new business momentum and aligning client needs with respective partner agency core expertise. He reports to Bob Kantor, Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, who oversees the team globally.

"What sets Ryan apart is his boundless energy and enthusiasm for business development, and the investment he makes in building deep agency and client relationships," said Kantor. "Ryan works across MDC's diverse partner agencies to expertly align them with the right clients, which is why so many brands count on him as a partner and a stakeholder in helping them achieve their goals."

For two consecutive years, Linder has been a leading contributor to record business development on behalf of MDC and its partner agencies, including driving many of the network's recent wins, including MillerCoors, The Hershey Company, Campbell's Soup Co., The Truth Initiative and Beats by Dre. Previously, Linder was SVP and Chief Growth Officer for MDC creative agency Doner. Prior to joining the MDC family, Linder was CMO for Omnicom shop, Zimmerman Advertising in Fort Lauderdale and led business development for Olson in Minneapolis and IPG's Jack Morton Worldwide.

"MDC's business success stems from our commitment to being a true partner to forward-thinking clients and agencies, which sets us apart as a catalyst for modern, transformative marketing," said Linder. "We bring together a world-class network of agencies, unparalleled creativity and entrepreneurialism, and a nimble global model that proactively tackles the challenges marketers are facing today. It is an honor to work alongside our agency leaders and the brightest minds in the business."
