August 13, 2012, William D. Davis provided notice to Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (the “Company”) of his resignation from the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Davis has been a valued member of the Company’s Board for nearly 20 years, and during his tenure the Company has benefited greatly from his diverse consumer products background, extensive understanding of the Company’s business and operations and senior management experience, among other things. Mr. Davis confirmed that his resignation was for personal reasons, and was not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
