Great Visuals for All Day and Night. Hundreds of Poor Children and Their Families Line Up for Fred Jordan Mission's Back-to-School Giveaway
WHAT: On the day before Fred Jordan Mission's 21st Annual Back-to-School
Giveaway, at least 100 underprivileged children are camped out and
lined up outside the Mission in anticipation of the Mission's
Back-to-School Giveaway tomorrow, Thursday Oct. 1, showing the
huge and growing need of impoverished children in our community.
Foot Locker associates sorted 4,000 pairs of brand new athletic
shoes you can see that they will give away free tomorrow at the
Giveaway.
Today all day and night on Wednesday, Sep. 30 will be great
visuals of Mission staff and volunteers preparing for the event.
Interviews with impoverished youth and their families and
representatives of the Mission will be available throughout the
day, evening and tomorrow. This is a great opportunity for a live
feed.
Mission staff and volunteers will be preparing to provide new
shoes, clothes and school supplies for thousands of inner-city
impoverished children. Tomorrow's Back-to-School Giveaway is
designed to equip thousands of needy and homeless children for
academic success by providing them with the tools they need to
help them achieve their goals in school and later on in life.
If your viewers, listeners or readers need new shoes, clothes,
haircuts or school supplies for their children, they are welcome
to come to the Giveaway. Because of the economy, the Fred Jordan
Mission is expecting even more children and their families at the
Giveaway. They are recommending that everyone line up early.
