Cintas Corp.'s (CTAS) Chairman and Founder Farmer Retires; Kohlhepp to Replace

Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) announced today that company founder Richard T. Farmer has retired as Chairman, assuming the role of Chairman Emeritus, and will remain on the Board of Directors.

Vice Chairman Robert J. Kohlhepp, 66, has been elected to the position of Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Kohlhepp first joined the Company as Controller in 1967. In 1979, he was appointed Executive Vice President and in 1984, became President and Chief Operating Officer. In 1995, he became Chief Executive Officer, the position he held until becoming Vice Chairman in 2003.

Mr. Kohlhepp earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Thomas More College and his M.B.A. from Xavier University. He currently serves as director of Parker Hannifin Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio and was appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Xavier University in September.
