Bonso Electronics (BNSO) Announces Retirement of CEO

Bonso Electronics International Inc. (Nasdaq: BNSO) announced today that George O'Leary has decided to retire, effective 1 October 2006, after approximately a 15 year association with Bonso, and since January 2005 as President and CEO.

Bonso Electronics designs, develops, manufactures, assembles and markets a comprehensive line of telecommunications products, electronic scales and weighing instruments and health care products.
