Bank of America's (BAC) Lewis Says Merrill's (MER) Thain Will Become President of Global Banking, Securities and Wealth Mgmt

Bank of America's (NYSE: BAC) Chairman and CEO, Ken Lewis, today announced that John Thain, current chairman and CEO of Merrill Lynch (NYSE: MER), will have a major role in the combined companies.

Once the merger is completed, Thain will become president of Global Banking, Securities and Wealth Management

Bank of America Corporation, a financial holding company, provides a range of banking and nonbanking financial services and products in the United States and internationally.
