Obamacare aid for plan buyers on U.S. exchanges barred by court, according to Bloomberg headlines.
UPDATE - Should the decision withstand appeals, it would mean that half the people who signed up for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare") won't be able to get the tax credits needed to buy the health plan.
According to the three-judge panel, the subsidy would only be available to those that bought plans on state-run exchanges. Only 14 states moves to setup their own exchanges, Bloomberg said.
Market watchers agree that today's decision could seriously cripple the law.
U.S. markets are positive in mid-morning trading Tuesday.
