Microsoft (MSFT) Drags Google (GOOG) into Motorola Patent Litigation for First Time

Microsoft Corp (Nasdaq: MSFT) said to add Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) in pending German patent litigation, according to Greek news source Capital.gr.
Microsoft has been in litigation with Motorola Mobility, which was acquired by Google earlier this year, but this is the first time that the parent company was brought into the suit.
The litigation was in relation to Google Maps, with Microsoft stating, "...Motorola maintains that it lacks sufficient information about actions occurring on Google's servers," which power the Android app for Google Maps."
Shares of Microsoft are up 0.9 percent on the session, while Google is down about 0.2, but moving off of lows.
