Barnes & Noble (BKS) Higher as Chairman Riggio to Settle Textbook Unit Sale Suit; Will Get Less in Deal

Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS) is trading higher Wednesdy following headlines from Bloomberg over a sale of the company's textbook unit.
According to headlines, Chairman Leo Riggio will settle the suit for $29 million. In addition, Riggio will reduce the amount he is to receive in the unit sale.
The settlement comes as investors questioned the amount that Riggio would receive in such a sale.
Shares are 1.3 percent higher in afternoon trading.
