A Range of Colors For Your Range

In this economy selling a house has become a study in treachery. Many people are opting for renovation rather than relocation.

It is well know that the kitchen is often the most expensive and dramatic change made to a home.  For several years now the trend in kitchens has been neutral and sleek with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and natural stone backsplashes. But recently I have been noticing a desire to inject some color back into the home. Maybe it is to brighten the dreary economic news bombarding us constantly. Maybe it is to break up the monotony of a home lived in for long enough. Maybe it is to express individuality and disparage the "keep up with the Jones" attitude all around us. Maybe it is just because people like color. All I know is that I for one am very excited about the change.

Viking, a high end appliance maker, is known for their commercial-type range designed for home use. Viking offers a high quality product that is attractive and sleek. The consumer has several different options when choosing an appliance, whether it be for refrigeration, cooking or clean-up. But the most exciting options now available involve color. Stainless steel is beautiful and clean but it is not the only choice. No longer does the consumer have to limit their options to just black, white, bisque or stainless. Companies like Viking are offering such daring color choices as lime green, plum, cobalt blue and red just to name a few. In fact, Viking has twenty four color choices for their major appliances. Another high end appliance manufacture dacor is also offering some fabulous color options like copper, blue water and slate green.

You may just want to add a touch of color to your kitchen by adding a copper range hood or a green microwave. Or you may be the bold and daring type who wants the full package to make a huge impact. Whatever your desired end result your options are limitless and seem to be evolving more and more. For your kitchen the future looks much brighter and a rainbow of options await. I know I could definitely live with a new cobalt blue range!
