eBay (EBAY) Currently Trading at Six-Year Highs, Up 40% in FY12

eBay Inc. (Nasdaq: EBAY) is higher on the session following an analyst call earlier, producing some impressive gains for 2012 with shares at multi-year highs.
Earlier, analyst firm Keefe, Bruyette & Woods started coverage on eBay at Outperform with a $50 price target. The target represented a premium of 23 percent from eBay's close at $40.67 last Friday.
The stock is up 4.7 percent Monday with strong volume. For 2012, eBay is up 40 percent and its intraday high of $42.62 is the best level its been at since early 2006.
