Facebook's (Nasdaq: FB) pending acquisition, WhatsApp, is still growing. And putting up some insane numbers in the process.

According to a post made by WhatsApp on Twitter Tuesday night, the company handled a record 64 billion messages yesterday. About 20 billion messages were sent and 44 billion messages were received. That's 3.2 billion messages per hour for 24 hours, 44.4 million messages per minute, or 740,740.74 messages per second.

Shares of Facebook are indicated higher in early trading Wednesday.

That maybe a total of all texts ever using WhatsApp..In your exuberance to make a post you provide nonsensical conclusions you should really pause and give your head a shake..
