VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW) today announced that Richard Sarwal, Executive VP, R&D, VMware, has resigned in order to return to Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL).
Effective immediately, Stephen Herrod, Ph.D, CTO and Senior VP of R&D, VMware, will assume day-to-day responsibilities for VMware's R&D organization.
