US Airways (NYSE: LCC) shares spiked lower Wednesday afternoon following comments from CEO Bill Parker on the conference call.
According to Parker, he's hoping the review process for AMR Corp. (OTCBB: AAMRQ) is fair and that US Airways will review options if not fair. Parker hopes to get AMR non-disclosure agreement soon, calling AMR willing to merger in Chapter 11 a "dramatic shift."
Shares are back in positive territory after falling about 8.4 percent.
