U.S. Light-Vehicle SAAR Slipped to 18.19M in Nov., Est. at 18.2M - Autodata
Autodata reported a 1.4 percent increase in U.S. light-vehicle sales for November. Passenger car sales fell 8.5 percent, while light truck sales increased 9.7 percent.
Total unit sales were about 1.32 million units, versus 1.30 million units in the same period last year.
The seasonally-adjusted annual rate slipped to 18.19 million in November, from 18.24 million in October. Consensus estimates called for 18.2 million. The number also compares with a 16.92 million SAAR for 2014.
