U.S. Airways, which was merged with American Airlines (NYSE: AAL) in late 2013, is under fire Monday after tweeting a lewd image of a woman with a plane in her vagina.
The photo was attached in a response to a customer that had a bad experience. U.S. Airways said: "We don't like to hear this, Alex. Please provide feedback to our Customer Relations team here (the lewd picture)". Jalopnik posted more here (warning: graphic)
U.S. Airways has since removed the image and posted the following apology:
We apologize for an inappropriate image recently shared as a link in one of our responses. We’ve removed the tweet and are investigating.
