TheStreet.com Issues Negative Article On Alt-Energy Stocks (BCON, VLNC, VSE, PEIX, AVR, CPST)

TheStreet.com issued a negative article that is getting some buzz today, entitled. "Six Alt-Energy Stocks That Could Go to Zero."

On the list:

1. Beacon Power (Nasdaq: BCON), citing deteriorating financials

2. Valence Technology (Nasdaq: VLNC) citing financials and CFO leaving after just five months

3, 4, 5. VeraSun Energy (NYSE: VSE), citing problems with ethanol, including a push to lift tariffs on Brazil ethanol and fears that the ethanol mandate in the U.S. could be completely scrapped. Also, mentions other ethanol companies Pacific Ethanol (Nasdaq: PEIX) and Aventine Renew Energy (NYSE: AVR).

6. Capstone Turbine (Nasdaq: CPST), citing overly bullish analyst, CEO credibility and hype.
