What does a Model X in testing look like? Well, a lot like a Model S, apparently.
The following photo was submitted on the subreddit r/UCSC (for "UC Santa Cruz") on Tuesday. No one was able to initially figure it out, but others believe its a modified Model S to represent the weight and center of gravity of the upcoming Model X SUV. Note that sensors on all four wheels to give precise feedback. We'll stick with this story and post any updates as they become available.
Tesla shares are indicated higher early Tuesday.
