Tesla (TSLA) Taps Another Apple (AAPL) Exec to Lead Manufacturing Technology

Tesla Motors (Nasdaq: TSLA) has hired another Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) employee for one of its key roles.
According to electrek.co, Tesla hired former Director of Alloy Engineering at Apple Rich Heley as its Senior Director of Manufacturing Technology. News comes just weeks after tapping Apple's Doug Field as head of Vehicle Design.
Heley also led other projects to develop new manufacturing techniques at Apple, according to his LinkedIn profile. He offers the following summary of his new Tesla position:

Previously an Engineering Director at Apple responsible for the Manufacturing Design or iPod, iPhone and Accessories as well as the development of new Alloys.
