Specs on Google's (GOOG) New Nexus 7 Tablet Out Ahead of I/O Event (GLW) (NVDA)

Information on Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) new tablet has leaked ahead of its I/O conference today. The tablet carries the moniker Nexus 7.
For looks, it appears to resemble a very Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPad-like backside, with smoothing around the edges. The bezel is a little large as well, hampering potential screen size.
On the display, resolution is expected to be a 1280 x 800 IPS display with scratch resistant Corning (NYSE: GLW) glass.
Case size is 198.5 x 120x 10.45 millimeters.
NVIDIA's (Nasdaq: NVDA) quad-core Tegra 3 SoC will be the brains.
Connectivity with be through GPS, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Micro USB, and NFC.
The entire shebang will run on Google's new Jelly Bean OS.
Shares of Google are 1.5 percent higher into the event, which is scheduled for 12;30pm EDT.
