According to reports from Bloomberg, U.S. life insurers could get a reply from the Treasury on TARP approval within three weeks.
Frank Keating, President of the American Council of Life Insurers, said, "We're informed that in the next several weeks there should be some action."
Stocks: Conseco Inc. (NYSE: CNO), Genworth Financial (NYSE: GNW), Hartford Financial (NYSE: HIG), Lincoln National (NYSE: LNC), MetLife Inc. (NYSE: MET), Pacific LifeCorp, Protective Life Corp. (NYSE: PL).
