Ralph Whitworth and David Batchelder's Relational Investors LLC showed, in an amended 13F filing yesterday, that they owned new 5,880,800 shares stake in Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq: JAVA) and a new 8,575,000 share stake in Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO) as of June 30, 2008.
