Questcor Pharmaceuticals (QCOR) Slammed On Latest Negative Report

Questcor Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: QCOR) is good at making enemies. However, the company is also good at destroying them.

Today's Questcor finds itself the target of another negative blog post. This one from the king of short-selling blogs - Citron Research - which has an impressive track record being right with their negative views on individual stocks that they cover.

Citron has posted a 22-page report on Questcor with nasty comments like "snake oil salesmen," "single digit stock in 18 months."

Citron filed a Freedom of Information Act request and has obtained the FDA's approval history on ACTH, which they said "completely negate the "barrier to entry" claims of Questcor's CEO."

But Questcor is no stranger to negative short attacks. In fact, every short attack has been meet with two things - a higher stock price and pain for short sellers.

Shares of QCOR are down 7.5 percent.

Tere is a law if you defame a celebrity with your personal view article, they will sue your ass off. And I think there are no law in stock market to do the same to some short sellers' blogs to push there profits.

citronresearch is one person, which is already short in this stock writing a blog repeating things which he reads on other blogs. Every company in the US sells goods for the highest achievable price buyers are willing to pay. Next Friday is JPM healthcare conference, next is earnings release. Good time to buy some qcor.
