Qihoo (QIHU) Looks to Unseat Baidu (BIDU) with New Music Service

Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) is showing some exceptional strength today amid news out of Asia that it is rolling out a dedicated music feature.
TechInAsia reports that Qihoo unveiled 360 Music search, which aims to unseat Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) Baidu Music Service. The feature aggregates songs from third-party sites, TIA notes.
The service will also have a streaming video section which aggregates offerings from Youku (NYSE: YOKU), Tudou, and LeTV.
Overall, Qihoo might look to turn both of these efforts into a streaming service, should interest push for the move.
Shares are up over 5 percent Thursday.
