Petrobras (PBR) Ouput Now 'Normalized' Following Strike -DJ
Dow Jones reports that Petrobras (NYSE: PBR) today announced that output has returned to more normal levels since a worker strike began earlier this week. Contingency workers have been filling in for striking workers on several of Petrobra's oil-producing platforms, bringing production to "normalized" levels, as Petrobras put it.
Petrobras said the strike was negligible, and that production fell only 7% due to the contingency workers who were ready to fill-in.
Petroleo Brasileiro S.A., Petrobras, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the exploration, exploitation, and production of oil from reservoir wells, shale, and other rocks.
