Pandora (NYSE: P) is moving lower on the session amid rehashed reports of a potential radio service from Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL).
Appleinsider points out that files found within iOS 6.1 might hint at a new "Pandora killer." Graphics include a "radio buy button," as well as a radio transmission graphic.
The last recorded update on the files were January 9, 2013.
Talks about Apple stating a streaming radio service began last year, with Apple facing some resistance in talks with content providers. Pandora fell twice, once last September and another time in October, on anticipation of the new service. With hundreds of millions of iTunes users in existence, Apple making a move in the music segment would certainly be disruptive.
Shares are down 1.4 percent Tuesday.
