Is Nokia's (NYSE: NOK) upcoming Lumia 920 better than Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone 5?

Yes. As far as Nokia is concerned, anyway.

CNET points out a Facebook posting by Nokia today, which is an "unbiased" infographic comparing and contrasting the Lumia 920 to Apple's iPhone 5. (You can click here for the graphic.)

Nokia points out that the Lumia 920s camera is 8.7-megapixels (MP) with SmartView technology, compared with Apple's frumpy, shawl-wearing 8-MP offering. You can get panorama shots on both, but will the iPhone 5 offer Optical Image stabilization or the best low-light performance in the smartphone category? No, but the Lumia does.

Next, you have to view the photos. For that, Nokia equipped the Lumia 920 with a PureMotion HD+ display, boasting 1280 x 768 pixels. Apple? Merely Retina Display with 1186 x 640 pixels. You can hardly make out an eagle soaring through the mountains from a click-and-a-half with that sort of display.

Both screens are sensitive, with Nokia's being super sensitive touch, allowing users to touch with gloves on or via the tip of a pen.

It goes on about design and wireless charging. No where does it mention the Windows 8 ecosystem (er, developing ecosystem) on it, though that's already implied. Another item Nokia forgot to include is that Apple's iPhone 5 is on sale today, while Nokia's Lumia 920...isn't.

But it will be before the end of the year. Shares of Apple are higher on the session while Nokia is about 4 percent lower.

It must be hard after having queued all night in order to hand over your hard earned cash to Apple Inc. for the iphone5 only to discover you've been had. Apple dresses up yesterday's technology in a pretty package, and it's oh sooo hard on all the fanboys who are taken in by that. I feel your pain, and it must sooo hurt to look at that comparison done by Nokia. So yes, you go ahead and stand up to those big bullies in Norway. Tell them that it doesn't matter if your phone isn't as good as theirs, it doesn't make you a lesser person. OK, you won't be able to navigate with your new toy because, well, it's a toy, not an in-car navigation system. If you'd wanted that you'd have bought a Tom Tom, right? Oh, and the camera -- who wants a good camera on a phone anyway? A phone's for making calls. And who cares if you can use the Lumia with gloves on -- you love your iphone so much you really prefer to be able to stroke it and touch it with your bare frozen fingers. Yeah, that's right, you tell them. Go, fanboys!

Why so angsty?

Nokia was right for releasing that sheet. It was unbiased because everything it states is more than true. The iPhone's camera IS frumpy compared to the Nokia's, the lack of image stabilization is huge, because the videos all show how well it works. The author is obviously upset at Nokia's sleight on Apple, evident in the mention of Apple's share price VS Nokia's, as if that's Nokia's fault. It's the fault of investors who don't do their research and see that the demand for the 920 is even higher than the demand for the Droid A855 (Droid Original) when it first came out of Verizon. Oh, and there's no mention of the recent leak which shows that the 920 WILL BE ON VERIZON.

Investors, stop listening to morons like these who write these articles next to the stock tickers to influence you. Do the research. Check out the forums and tech websites. The Lumia 920 is so anticipated that you'd be a fool not to invest in Nokia. Face it, Apple messed up big time, and the evidence is all there. Type #iosapocalypse into twitter. I dare you.

Stupid fanboy, stop writing articles. Your journalistic duty was shot in the face with this article.
