One of the best moves ahead of Facebook's (FB) IPO might not be by Zynga (Nasdaq: ZNGA) or Netflix.

According to reports Friday, Sony (NYSE: SNE) and Universal Music's VEVO unveiled a newly redesigned website to capture the user experience more wholly. VEVO has integrated itself into Facebook as well as Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iTunes.

In addition to a larger screen, VEVO introduced playlists which will sync with users iTunes libraries and Facebook pages (we're assuming the ones which have been "liked").

VEVO is also planning to expand its offering onto more TVs. Currently available on Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) Google TV and Boxee, the natural progress is to include VEVO on Sony's PlayStation and potentially Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Xbox.

Whether this will cause disruption to Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) or Hulu is unclear but seems unlikely; VEVO sticks to music videos and doesn't have deals with content providers for TV shows or films.

In past presentations, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings has said his company wants to form a stronger bond with Facebook, but recent rumors suggest Facebook has been mulling a potential acquisition of VEVO. And why not? VEVO had a reported 717 million streams in January, a number that's tough to match...

Sony shares are ripping higher Friday, up over 4.5 percent on the session. Shares of Netflix are up about 1.5 percent.
