Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX), Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN), and others might see a little upside following an announcement out of Disney (NYSE: DIS) earlier.
Disney said it will shutter is Disney Movies Onlline website at the end of 2012. Though Disney's website is more family oriented, Netflix and others will probably move to cater more of that market.
Who knows, maybe Disney and Netflix will strike a new distribution partnership sometime soon.
Shares of Netflix are lower in late trading Monday, while Amazon is slightly higher.
