Motorola Mobility (MMI) Volatility Pops as Google (GOOG) to Begin Selling Android Devices Online Again

Motorola Mobility (NYSE: MMI) shares are recovering following a dip earlier on headlines that Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) will begin selling Android devices online again.

According to AllThingsD, the move comes following the failed effort in 2010 with its Nexus One.

The new Galaxy Nexus will be under a new "devices" section on Google Play.

Motorola implied volatility is up 24 percent from the close Monday with IV about 350 percent above its historical level. Shares are off about 1 percent.
