Morning Movers 10/22: HTE, SDXC, SXI, NYT, FFIV, SKX, JCG Higher; TQNT, WSTL, NWK, EPAX, AFFX, NCR Lower

Harvest Energy Trust (NYSE: HTE) 31.7% HIGHER; late last night announced that it has entered into an agreement with Korea National Oil Corporation for the purchase of all the issued and outstanding trust units at a price of C$10.00 per Unit for a total cash consideration of approximately C$1.8 billion plus the assumption of C$2.3 billion of debt. The stock was also upgraded at UBS, Citi and RBC Capital.

Switch & Data Facilities Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: SDXC) 27.6% HIGHER; Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX) and Switch & Data have entered a definitive agreement for Equinix to acquire Switch and Data in a transaction valued at approximately $689 million in cash and stock, based on yesterday's market close.

TriQuint Semiconductor (NASDAQ: TQNT) 25.2% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.10, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter was $173 million, which compares to the estimate of $176.60 million. TriQuint sees Q4 EPS of $0.10-$0.12, versus $0.13 consensus. Sees Q4 sales of $175-$185 million versus $187.7 million.

Westell Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: WSTL) 22.7% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.04, inline with the analyst estimate of $0.04 and compared to a loss of $0.07 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $47.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $48.45 million.

Network Equipment Technologies Inc. (NYSE: NWK) 21.8% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.11 loss, 2 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.09 loss. Revenue for the quarter was $19.8 million, which compares to the estimate of $21.3 million.

Standex International Corp. (NYSE: SXI) 20.9% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.75 non-GAAP, versus the analyst estimate of $0.16. Only 1 analyst covers Standex. The same period last year saw Standex with an EPS of $0.71, non-GAAP. Revenue for the quarter was $152.10 million, which compares to the estimate of $149.51 million.

Ambassadors Group Inc. (Nasdaq: EPAX) 19.1% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.64, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.57.

Affymetrix (NASDAQ: AFFX) 18.9% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.13, 4 cents below the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter was $78.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $80.67 million.

New York Times Co. (NYSE: NYT) 16.7% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.16 ex-items, cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenue for the quarter was $570.60 million, which compares to the estimate of $561.60 million.

NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) 14.9% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.19 adjusted, versus the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter was $1.14 billion, which compares to the estimate of $1.22 billion. Sees FY09 non-GAAP EPS of $0.45 - $0.55, previously saw $0.60 - $0.75. The Street expects $0.67.

F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV) 14.8% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.50, cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter was $175.10 million, which compares to the estimate of $163.74 million. Sees Q110 EPS non-GAAP $0.47- $0.49. Q110 revenue target of $182 to $187 million. This morning, the stock has been upgraded at UBS, MKM Partners and Canaccord Adams.

Life Time Fitness Inc. (NYSE: LTM) 13.1% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.49, cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.48. Revenue for the quarter was $210.58 million, which compares to the estimate of $215.17 million. Sees FY09 revs of $835 - $845 million, up from $830 - $860 million. FY EPS expected to be $1.78 - $1.81, up from $1.65 - $1.75. The Street sees FY09 revs of $843.36 million and FY09 EPS of $1.74.

Skechers USA Inc. (NYSE: SKX) 11.5% HIGHER; afreports Q3 EPS of $0.52, 17 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter was $405.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $384.8 million. The stock was also upgraded at CL King.

Spartan Motors Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAR) 11.2% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.02, cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenue for the quarter was $89.70 million, which compares to the estimate of $87.90 million.

ITT Educational Services Inc (NYSE: ESI) 10.7% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $2.00, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.97. Revenue for the quarter was $339.60 million, which compares to the estimate of $334.87 million.

J. Crew Group, Inc. (NYSE: JCG) 10.6% HIGHER; raises Q3 EPS 10.8% HIGHER; guidance to $0.54 to $0.59 as compared to its previously estimated range for diluted earnings per share of $0.30 to $0.33 and its actual third quarter fiscal 2008 diluted earnings per share of $0.30. The Wall Street consensus is $0.36. For Q4, the Company currently expects comparable store sales to increase in the mid to high single digit range and Direct sales to increase in the low single digit range, as compared to the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008. The stock was also upgraded at Cowen and started at Buy at Jesup & Lamont.

Phoenix Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: PTEC) 10.3% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $0.15, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter was $17.23 million, which compares to the estimate of $18.91 million.

Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: RODM) 9.9% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.42, versus the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter was $65.55 million, which compares to the estimate of $29.73 million.

HNI Corp. (NYSE: HNI) 9.4% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.47, cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter was $454 million, which compares to the estimate of $442 million. Sees Q4 revs below Q3.

iRobot Corp. (NASDAQ: IRBT) 8.6% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.10, 8 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenue for the quarter was $78.6 million, which compares to the estimate of $77.91 million.
