Microsoft (MSFT) Sends Out Invites to Try Next Consumer Version of Office 365

According to an email received Tuesday morning, Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) is inviting users to experience the new Office 365 for a limited trial.

The new version, which was announced on July 16th, will be more cloud-based, allowing users to access files from wherever, whenever. It will also be better utilized for upcoming tablets via better touch interface, perfect for Microsoft's upcoming Surface tablet series.

Shares of Microsoft are fractionally lower in early trading Tuesday.
