Too bad she's married to John Layfield, a former wrestler. What a wet blanket.
According to an interview on Bloomberg, Whitney called JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) CEO Jamie Dimon the "antithesis" of Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) Lloyd Blankfein. No surprise there, really.
Whitney said Dimon "...had like a couple of tough questions, but he's like he's the antithesis of Blankfein. He charms. He's incredible." Couldn't have said it better ourselves.
Last week, Dimon spoke in front of a Senate Banking Panel about recent losses disclosed in its CIO unit. Dimon is set to testify again Tuesday morning, this time in front of the House Financial Services Committee in D.C.
Specific CIO numbers weren't mentioned at the Senate hearing and the same mum responses are expected Tuesday. JPMorgan said it would update on CIO operations during its second-quarter 2012 conference call, set for Friday, July 13th.
JPMorgan shares are indicated for a stronger open Tuesday. The stock is down 15 percent since initial disclosure of losses at the CIO unit on May 10th.
