McDonald's (MCD) Japan Unit Expected to Announce Deal with Pokémon Go

McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) shares are on watch following news that McDonald’s Holdings Co. will sponsor an introduction of the hot mobile game -- Pokémon Go -- in Japan.
The WSJ noted today that the McDonald's affiliate with make restaurants key locations for players.
The deal is expected to be announced on Wednesday. It will be the first business deal for Pokémon Go, which has see surging success in the U.S. since its debut last week.
Shares of McDonald's are up 1.5 percent.
