Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) has become a key social network for this looking to get the best deals at major retailers this holiday shopping season.
But, which companies generated the most buzz?
According to the WSJ's, citing data from Spredfast, the top Twitter brands for the morning of Black Friday were:
- Kohl's (NYSE: KSS) with 22,000 posts, up 136 percent from last year
- Wal-mart (NYSE: WMT) at 8,800 posts, up 54 percent from last year
- Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) Xbox One at 6,500 posts, a gain of 171 percent from November 2013
- Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) at 6,200 Tweets, up from 2,700 last year
- Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) at 6,200 posts, a gain of 226 percent over last year
