Kass Kicks K-ASS (C, BAC)!

January 24, 2008 11:55 AM EST

On Tuesday of this week, Doug Kass wrote on Real Money's The Edge that he bought a "ton of Citigroup (NYSE: C) and Bank of America (NYSE: BAC)." Buying financials was another deft call by Kass. Since the time that he wrote his post, Citigroup is up 8% while Bank of America is up over 11%

Kass said the negativity bubble was expanding, which he felt was a positive for equities in the intermediate term. Here is an excerpt from what Kass said, "Listen to CNBC -- utter skepticism and disbelief that stocks can ever rally. But look at those financials."

He called this one again. You can see more of his money-making ideas on RealMoney.com
