August 20, 2012 7:50 AM EDT
Not out of the woods yet, apparently.

According to reports out Monday, Motorola Mobility isn't resting on its haunches after Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) acquisition of the company was completed earlier this year. Motorola said it filed a lawsuit with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) against Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) over features such s location reminders, voice recognition, e-mail notification, and more.

Motorola is looking for a ban on U.S. imports of Apple products such as the iPhone and iPad.

This is the second complaint filed by Motorola against Apple. The two have been at ends since licensing talks failed in 2010, according to Bloomberg.

News comes as Apple and Samsung have both rested their respective cases in recent litigation. Closing arguments are expected to be made in that case on August 21st.

Apple and Google are both indicated higher Monday morning.
