Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) told to expect large fines in antitrust probe, according to Bloomberg.
UPDATE - The European Union is mulling to slap Google with fines large enough to act as a deterrant after it accused the search giant of squeezing out rivals in comparison-shopping market.
Google may face a fine from its AdWords revenue derived from European users.
In version of the statement of objections released to complaints, the EU said, The commission considers that, based on the facts described in this statement of objections, Google committed the infringement intentionally or, at the very least, negligently.
